A Day in the Life of a Warehouse Supervisor: As a Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, manage inventory, coordinate logistics, and uphold our commitment to environmental responsibility. You’ll be involved in key aspects of maintenance planning to ensure our equipment and machinery are always ready for the job. Each day will present opportunities to make a tangible impact while fostering a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Operations: Plan and organize the logistics of the warehouse to maintain efficient workflows and meet organizational goals.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, oversee requisitions, and arrange for equipment purchases or repairs.
- Coordinate and Report: Collaborate with departments, submit operational reports, and ensure the smooth operation of equipment and systems.
- Maintenance Planning: Arrange for maintenance and repair work, perform regular equipment inspections, and optimize machinery functionality.
- Problem-Solving: Address work challenges, provide technical advice, and implement measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to and promote health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Language: Proficiency in French
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience: 1 to 7 months in warehousing, logistics, or a related field
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of inventory control software, MS Office, and dispatch management software
