Position: Truck Driver
Location: Brampton, ON (On-Site)
Salary: $34.10 per hour (50-60 hours per week)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Job Highlights:

Position Requirements:
- Language: English proficiency
- Education: High school graduation certificate
- Experience: No prior experience required – we provide training!
- License: AZ Class License required
- Specialization: Experience with GPS and navigation equipment
Key Responsibilities: As a Truck Driver at Blue Willow Trucks Inc., you will:
- Transport and Handle Goods: Load, unload, and ensure the safety and security of cargo, including handling dangerous goods.
- Travel Coordination: Arrange travel plans, itineraries, and obtain necessary permits for international routes.
- Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance: Conduct inspections and oversee vehicle conditions, including tires, brakes, and cold storage. Perform emergency roadside repairs when needed.
- Documentation: Record all necessary details, including cargo information, hours of service, and fuel consumption, and complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspection reports.
- Dispatch Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch and maintain effective communication.
Credentials & Documentation Knowledge:
- Experience with Driver Logbooks, Trip Reports, and Accident/Incident Reports is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of inspection reports for pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip checks.
Additional Details:
- Valid driver’s license required.
- The role involves in-person work; remote work is not available.
- Open to candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.
